Domingo Garcia, Sr., 79, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. He was born July 5, 1936 in Goliad to the late Juan Garcia and Victoria Barrera Garcia. He worked as a rancher and always enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ramona Partida Garcia; daughter, Sylvia Rodriguez of Cuero; sons, Ernest Garcia, Sr. of Cuero, Domingo Garcia, Jr. of Cuero, Andy Garcia of Cuero, Ruben Garcia of Yorktown; sisters, Lupe Moya of Corpus Christi, Estella Fraka of Meyersville, Terry Padron of Houston, Rosa Licerio of Alice; brothers, Victor Garcia of Cuero, Mario Garcia of Corpus Christi, Juan Garcia of Cuero, Rene Garcia of Port Lavaca; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria Cuellar; and brother, Natividad Garcia.

Funeral services will be held at Freund Funeral Home on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ruben Sanchez and Rev. David Maldonado officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include E.J. Garcia, John Rodriguez, Jacob Garcia, Fabian Chavez, Courtney Williams, and Joshua Garcia. Honorary pallbearers include Markus Garcia and Christopher Garcia.
