Donald Albert Bell, 78, of Cuero passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. He was born April 25, 1935 in Cuero to the late Seth Pettus and Julia Rogene Pattreson Bell. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church . Don has traveled all over the world with his traveling companion Rafael Acosta Jr.

He is survived by his brother, C. Pat Bell and wife, Sarah of Cuero; nephews, Ken Bell and wife, Micki, of Stephenville, Robin Reeves and wife, Teresa, of Palmer, and Rustin Reeves and wife, Sandy, of Allen; nieces, Cynthia Bell Goodwyn and husband, Bruce, of Boerne and Becky Bell Capt and husband, Carper, of Uvalde. He is also survived by family friends, Rafael Acosta Jr. and Mrs. Maria Acosta, Pam Grant, Dr. McLeod, Jeff Hall, Doctors and nurses at Parkside Family Clinic, Ricky Reeves and nurses at Soldalis Elder Living Center, Doctors and nurses at Cuero Nursing Home, and Hospice of South Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Jeannine Bell Reeves.

Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Freund Funeral Home with Dr. Glenn Robertson officiating. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Seth P. Bell, James C. Bell, Ben K. Bell, L. Jared Capt, L. Carper Capt, Rafael Acosta Jr.
