Corpus Christi – Dora Agnes Hilbrich, 80, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Dora was born July 6, 1928 in Milburn, West Virginia to the late George W. and Lula Rollins McGuire. She married Lee Roy Hilbrich on September 6, 1953 in Westhoff, Texas. Lee Roy and Dora had 36 wonderful years together before the Lord called him home on December 26, 1989. Dora was a poultry farmer, worked at the cotton mill and was a caregiver. She also enjoyed needlecrafts and woodwork.

She is survived by her children, Roy Lee and Barbara Hilbrich of Jewett, Texas and Wanda S. and Edward Avila of Portland, Texas; sister, Gracie Caraway of Huntsville; four grandchildren, Matthew and April Hilbrich, Candace and Jacob Frank, Aimee and David Avila; one great-grandson, Lee Garrett Frank; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Dale McGuire and Leonard Baxter; sisters, Ina Pace and Mildred Yaws.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be Thursday, March 19, 2009, 2 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Westhoff Cemetery.
