Doris M. Palmer, 62, passed away on Saturday, April 14. She was born September 9, 1949 in Yoakum to the late Ollie and Amelia Hairell. She was a life-long partner with her husband in various businesses.

She is survived by her husband, Charles (Mike) Palmer III of 45 years; sons, Rex Palmer and wife Karen, Harold Palmer and wife Sharon; grandchildren, Mark Hanson and wife Melissa, Stacey Trammell and husband Bryan, Lucas Hanson and wife Trish, Larissa Whitehead and husband Jamie; great- grandchildren, Lizzie (Joy) and Jessa Whitehead, Tristan, Brayden, Laurel and Cord Hanson, & Lane and Tyler Trammell; brothers, Oscar Hairell and wife Kathryn, Wilburn Hairell and wife Betty, James Hairell and wife Doris; and sisters, Ruby Ford, Lillian Kopecky, Amy Schlinke, Anne Surgron and husband Ace.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister. Mildred Mueller.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Fenton officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Mark Hanson, Lucas Hanson, Bryan Trammell, Bobby Lane, Brad Lemke, and Kenneth Palmer.
