Dorothy Lee Arndt, 80, of Cuero passed away Monday, October 21, 2013. She was born on April, 24, 1933 in Yorktown , to Herman Morgenroth and Hertha Steck Morgenroth. She married her beloved husband, Clyde Allen Arndt, on December 22, 1952 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Some of the happiest days were spending time in Port O'Connor with her family, particularly, her two grandchildren, Meredith and Morgen. She adored her great-grand daughter, Harper Ambers Metting who could always make her laugh.

She is survived by daughter, Cynthia Ann Arndt Kirk (Robbie) of Cuero. Son, Charlie Arndt of Cuero. Grandchildren, Meredith Kirk Metting (Dustin) of Cuero, Morgen Kirk of Austin, and great-granddaughter, Harper Metting.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Hertha Morgenroth and husband, Clyde Arndt.

Pallbearers include, Monroe Rieger, Jim Conrad, Malcom Morgenroth, Clifford Haun, Dustin Metting, and David Drost.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 5:30-7:30pm, at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 10:00am, at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Karl Bierman officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero.
