Earvin 'Bow Tie' Brown, 89, of Cuero passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012. He was born February 27, 1923 to Sim and Stella Harvey Brown. He married his beloved wife, Dorothy Faye Ross Brown, on March 17, 1965 in Victoria. He was an operator and Dupont for 34 years and was a served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, daughter, Sonya Kaye Brown; son, Willis Henry Brown; sisters, Mary Rice and Vandy Lewis; brothers, Oylen Brown and R. Lee Brown; Sister- in -law, Odessa Brown; and Nieces, Lauren Ross, Catrina Harper, Lynette Brown, Barbara Randel, Daphne Eldridge, and Kristy 'Muffin' Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Debra Hynes; son, Earvin Allen Brown; sister, Velma Brown; and brothers, Sim Brown Jr. and Henry Pete Brown.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6-8, at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held October 2, 2012 at 1 p.m., at First United Methodist Church with Rev R.C. Mays officiating. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Robert 'Butch' Williams, Dylen 'Bubba' Brown, Casey Brown, Cody Brown, Martin ' Red' Eldridge, John Eldridge, Trevor Ross, and Roderick 'Rock' Fryer.
