Edmund Baros, 68, of Cuero passed away Monday, October 9, 2017. He was born August 20, 1949 in Cuero to the late Charles and Beaulah Heider Baros. Edmund was a United States Navy veteran and retired from CCC Group Construction Company after many years of service. He enjoyed hunting, catching monster catfish, and loved his grandsons more than words can say. He and his brother, Charles, were known as the two best catfish catching brothers.
Edmund is survived by sons, Phillip Baros and wife, Amanda, of Victoria, Brandon Baros of Houston, and Troy Baros of Houston; brother, Charles Baros and wife, Donna, of Port Lavaca; grandchildren, Hunter and Parker Baros of Victoria; numerous nieces and nephews; and many fishing and hunting partners.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James and George Baros.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Freund Funeral Home with a service beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Terry Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Lindenau Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Brian Baros, Kevin Parma, Larry Parma, Fred Maldonado, Steve Zielonka, and Tommy Pargmann.
