Elaine Wilkinson Boston, 90, of Westhoff passed away Friday, September 18, 2015. She was born August 4, 1925 to the late Edmond Wilkinson and Era Stone Wilkinson. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and Baptist Memorial School of Nursing in San Antonio. She went on to marry the love of her life, Joe Boston in 1948. Elaine became a registered nurse and worked in San Antonio at various hospitals in the operating rooms. She retired in 1979 as the Director of Operating and Recovery Rooms at San Antonio Community Hospital after 33 years of nursing. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuero, and a life time member of V.F.V in Cuero and American Legion Aux. in Westhoff. She is survived by her daughter-in-Law Brenda Hicks Boston of Kingsland; grandchildren Lisa Boston Nesloney and Stephanie K. Boston of Austin; and great-grandchildren, River Nesloney and Kate Boston Dombrowski. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 63 years; sister, June Settlemeyer; and son, Robert Boston. Memorial contributions may be made to Westhoff Cemetery Association, P.O.
