Obituary
CUERO - Elias Mendoza, 49, of Cuero, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009. He was born April 27, 1960, in Guanajuato, Mexico, to Juan Tobias Mendoza of Mexico and the late Maria Guadalupe Rosas. He was a self-employed laborer in construction.
He is survived by his father; companion, Hortencia R. Gonzales of Cuero; daughters, Esmerida, Izabel, and Maria, all of Mexico, Ana of Oklahoma, Aracely of Utah, Sandra and Martha, both of Cuero; sons, Jaime, Emilio, Juan, Fidel, and Francisco, all of Cuero; 20 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2009, at Freund Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Hillside Cemetery.
