Elizabeth Carol Lucas, 76, of Cuero passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. She was born October 29, 1940 in Cuero to the late Ervin and Elizabeth Kleinecke Junker. Carol married Quinon Lucas on March 16, 1956.

She is survived by her husband, Quinon; son, Christopher Todd Lucas and wife, Elizabeth of Cuero; and grandchildren, Jennifer Torres (Jerry) of San Antonio, Christopher T. Lucas Jr. of Cuero, Brodie Lucas and Duncan Lucas of Abilene; great-grandchildren Genesis Torres and Heaven Torres of San Antonio.

She is preceded in death by her parents;son, William Keith Lucas; and brothers, Chris Junker and Bob Junker.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Parish Hall. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Denis Wauson, Christopher Lucas Jr., Christopher Todd Lucas, Brodie Lucas, Jerry Torres, Chris Saunders and Wes Luddeke. Honorary pallbearers are Duncan Lucas, Charles Wanjura and Randy Wolter.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
