Erlinda Gonzales Trevino, 84 of Cuero passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. She was born March 17, 1928 to the late Leopoldo and Conception Loya Gonzales. She married Abel Trevino on October 28, 1950 in Cuero. She worked at Guadalupe Cotton Mills for 28 years and as a waitress at City Meat Market in Yoakum for 22 years. She was a member of El Buen Pastor Pentecostal Church in Cuero.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Abel Trevino; son, Manuel Muniz and wife, Lucy, of Yoakum; daughters, Elizabeth Ruiz and husband, David, and Linda DeLeon and husband, Ray, both of Cuero; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Mary Ann Carmona and Mary Alice Trevino; son, Alvaro Muniz; sisters, Isabel Fernandez, Juanita Perez, Petra Rivera and Conception Galindo; Brothers, Salvador Gonzales and Leopoldo Gonzales.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at The Good Shepherd Temple of Praise with Rev Jose Chano officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
