Estella Garibay, 70, of Cuero passed away Friday, October 17, 2014. She was born May 31, 1944 in DeWitt County to the late Pete Gonzales and Narcisa Ochoa Gonzales. She married the love of her life, Bisente Garibay, in January of 1962 in Cuero. She is survived by her husband; sons, Vincente Garibay, Jr., (Sylvia) of Cuero and Ricky Garibay of Cuero; daughter, Bernidine Navarro of Port Lavaca; brothers, Jessie Gonzales, Adam Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales, Daniel Gonzales, and Arthur Gonzales, all of Victoria; sisters, Angie Gonzales and Eva Padron, both of Victoria; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Pete Jr., Joe, and Adam Gonzales; and sisters, Susie Ramirez and Mary De los Santos. Visitation will be held Monday, October 20, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at The Good Shepherd Church Temple of Praise Church with Pastor John Carmona officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers include Simon Navarro, Reymundo Navarro, Amado Gonzales III, Frank Gonzales, Brian Gonzales, and Ben Gonzales Memorial contributions may be made to The Good Shepherd Church Temple of Praise Church.
