Esther S. Howard, 59, of Cuero, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. She was born October 27, 1958 to the late Raymundo and Dolores McDonough Sanchez. Esther was a hard worker.  She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, gardening and being outside.  Esther's greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

Esther is survived by her daughters, Jessica Mendoza and Desiree Gonzales, both of Cuero; son, Timothy Mendoza of Victoria; sisters, Santos Gallegos of Victoria, Mary Ann Sanchez of Cuero, Julia Rodriguez of Cuero, Jennifer Cano of Victoria, and Margaret Delagarza of Holland, MI; brothers, Jacinto Sanchez of Cuero, Ramon Sanchez of Victoria, and Richard Sanchez of Cuero; grandchildren, Mia Mendoza of Victoria, Derek De Los Santos of Houston, Devin De Los Santos of Cuero, Destiny De Los Santos of Cuero, Deliay De Los Santos of Cuero, Jesse Ray Mendoza of Victoria, Nevaen Sanchez of Cuero, Ayvree Garcia of Cuero, Emilio Trevino III of Cuero, Annabella Mendoza of Victoria, Adelina Mendoza of Victoria, and Timothy Mendoza Jr. of Victoria.

Visitation service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home.  The funeral service will immediately follow at 10:30 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor David Maldonado.
