Eunice Kathryn Lee, 82, of Cuero passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. She was born December 28, 1943 in Lindenau to Robert George and Mary Laura Cunningham Kueker. She married Robert Patrick "Pat" Lee on June 15, 1963 at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau. She earned her Master Degree in Education from the University of Houston. She worked as a Reading Specialist Teacher for Cuero Independent School District for 31 years. She enjoyed gardening and was a C.T.A. Victoria Master Gardener. She was also a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Lee Hrabovsky (Roger) and Laura Lee Buckley (John); sister, Betty Jo Afflerbach (Curtis); brothers, John Kueker and Roy Kueker; grandchildren, Jennifer Gohlke, Chelsea Chaloupka and Joshua Hrabovsky; great-grandchildren, Faithlyn Hrabovsky, Jake Chaloupka, Owen Chaloupka and Olivia Chaloupka and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Pat Lee; sisters, Wanda Huey, Dorothy Matejek, Rosemary Young and Anna Schlinke; brothers, Robert Kueker, Kenneth Kueker, Ralph Kueker, Bill Kueker and Albert Kueker.

Pallbearers include Roger Hrabovsky, John Buckley, Chris Chaloupka, Joshua Hrabovsky, Jake Chaloupka and Owen Chaloupka.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, 9:00 AM at Freund Funeral Home with funeral services to begin at 10:00 AM with Curtis Afflerbach officiating. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Eric Afflerbach Scholarship Fund or Alzcare of Dewitt County Activity Fund.
