Eva Aguilar, 62, of Cuero passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015. She was born September 2, 1952 in Cuero to Cruz Aguilar and Lorenza Cañas Guajardo. Eva was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She is survived by her mother, Lorenza Cañas Guajardo; beloved husband, Gabino Gea; daughters, Angie Bestwick and Lashron Williams; son, Anthony Vasquez; stepsons, Gabino Gea, Oscar Gea, and Anselmo Gea; and sisters, Gloria Coyle, Mary Aguilar, Ermenlind Jocquez, Lucy Castillo, and Patricia Muñoz; brothers, Domingo Aguilar, Raymond Aguilar, Guadalupe Aguilar, Cruz Aguilar Jr., and Augustine Aguilar; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Cruz Aguilar, and her stepfather, Evaristo Guajardo. Visitation will be Monday, June 22, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with a rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015, 10 a.m., at Jerusalem Baptist Church with Pastor Anthony Vasquez officiating.
