Eva G. Self, 82, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020.  She was born June 2, 1938 in Laredo to Emerico and Maclovia Gonzalez.  She was a telephone operator for Western Union for 20+ years.  She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Jean Self; sisters, Ninfa Gonzalez Longoria, Ana Gonzalez Perez, Gloria Gonzalez Blanco,  and Leonor Gonzalez Mauck; and brothers, Emerico Gonzalez Jr., Guillermo D. Gonzalez and Jorge O. Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2020, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Freund Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, 2:00 pm at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Grady Arnold officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be the Men of Calvary Baptist Church and nephew, John Perez.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Memorial Building Fund.
