Eveline M. Battles, 76, of Cuero passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. She was born on May 20, 1937 in DeWitt County to Will Edwards and Susie Arkadie. She was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters; Lashon Battles of Victoria, LeaAnn Battles of Victoria, sons; Robert P. Battles of Cuero, Lionel Battles of Victoria, Charles Battles of Waco, and Michael Battles of Wharton, sisters; Lucille Myles of Pensacola, Florida, and Orgenia Patterson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will include; Jermaine Battles, Terrel Robinson, Kahli Robinson, Bryson Archangel, Britten Battles, and Fredrick Mims. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt.
