Felipe Garcia Jr., 89, of Cuero passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019.  He was born December 20, 1929 in Runge to the late Felipe Garcia Sr. and Angelita Vela.  He married Lucia Orosco  on September 19, 1948 in Cuero.

He is survived by his sons, Albert (Olga) Garcia of Cuero and Gilbert (Kecia) Garcia of Victoria; daughters, Yolanda (Henry) Garcia Blaskowski and Janie Garcia both of Wisconsin and Adela Torres of Cuero; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Lucia Garcia.

Pallbearers include Melissa Berg, Bonnie Garcia, Cody Garcia, Chase Garcia, Frank Flores and Timothy Torres.

Honorary pallbearers include Michelle Garcia and Phillip Garcia.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 5-7 PM at Freund Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Friday, July 19, 2019,  10 AM, at Jerusalem Baptist Church with Pastor Dan Cancino officiating.  Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Jerusalem Baptist Church.
