Floyd Sterling Bohne, 82, of Cuero passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021.  He was born January 12, 1939 in Cuero to Floyd R. and Ella Emily Rabke Bohne.  He married Virginia Lucas on November 4, 1961 at St. Michaels Catholic Church of Cuero.  He worked for GVEC as a lineman for thirty five years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and family get togethers.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Virginia; daughter, Sandy (Rob) Bohne Lassmann of Cuero; son, Gary Bohne of Leander; brother, Charles (Theresa) Bohne of College Station; grandson, Chris (Brianna) Lassmann of Cedar Park.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021, 10 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church with   a rosary at 10:30 AM.  Funeral Mass will begin at 11 AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Jacob Mendoza officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Gary Bohne, Chris Lassmann, Larry Lucas, Derek Bohne, Darren Bohne, James Lucas and Lonnie Lucas.

Honorary Pallbearers include all the current and former employees of DeWitt County Electric Co-op, GVEC and Jim and Judy Parker.

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic School or St. Michael's Catholic Church.
