Frances Lopez Guiterrez, 68, of Goliad, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, in Cuero. She was born June 14, 1942, in Cheapside, to the late Louis Lopez and Librida DeHoyos. She was a care provider.

She is survived by her son, Johnny Rueben Trevino (Theresa Trevino) of Cuero; brothers, Alex Lopez and Librado Lopez, both of Cuero, and Joe Lopez of Yoakum; grandchildren, Ruby Trevino, Marcus Vargas, and April Christine Trevino, all of Victoria; great-grandchildren, Briana Barnett, Sierra Vargas, and Miranda Vargas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Benito Guiterrez; sisters, Narcisa Alaniz and Elvira Vera; brothers, Louis Lopez, David Lopez, Augustine Lopez, Martin Lopez, and Jesse Lopez.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept 13, 2010, at Freund Funeral Home will Brother Fernando Aleman officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Gabriel Jacinto, Michael Renteria, Joe Louis Lopez, Louie Guajardo, Raul Dimas, and Adolph Liendo.
Honorary pallbearers are Ernest Vargas, Antonio Vargas Sr., and Leroy Lopez Jr.
