Frank Gamez Jr., 56, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012. He was born on September 14, 1955 in Corpus Christi to Frank Sr. and Beatrice Medina Gamez.
He is survived by wife, Delia Garibay Gamez, of 38 years of marriage; daughter, Kristy Mays and husband, Brandon, of Cuero; sons, Frank Jason Gamez and wife, Julie, of Cuero, Eugene Gamez and wife, Brandi, of Cuero, Hector Gamez and wife, Monica, of Cuero, Isaiah Gamez and wife, Alicia, of Cuero; brothers, Lupe Gamez, Raul Gamez, and Roland Gamez, all of Cuero; sisters, Irene Gamez, Sylvia Gamez, and Janie Gamez, all of Cuero; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Beatrice Gamez and son, Isaac Gamez.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012, 10 a.m., at El Buen Pastor with Rev. Chano officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Frank Jason Gamez, Eugene Gamez, Hector Gamez, Isaiah Gamez, Brandon Mays, and Kendrick Cromer.
Honorary pallbearers include his 17 grandchildren and Procoro "Pro" Gonzales.
