Frank Wildon Kuecker, 86, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, November 08, 2011. He was born August 12, 1925 in Cuero to the late Rudolph & Natalie Scheffler Kuecker. He married Pauline Whitehead on October 14, 1950 in Cuero. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1946 during WWII, coached little league baseball for 12 years, loved ranching and woodworking, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cuero.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Karl Kuecker and wife Janyce and Jim Kuecker and wife Beverly; sister, Kathy Kuecker Williams; grandchildren, Julie Kuecker Gamez, Reagen Kuecker, Brooke Brown Smith, Kyle Kuecker, and Sara Kuecker; and great-grandchildren, Avrie Gamez, Jace Gamez, Ashlyn Gamez, Brealyn Brown, and Cavan Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leroy Kuecker and Rudolph Kuecker Jr.; and son, Roger Durwood Kuecker.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 10 at Freund Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Services will be held Friday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Glenn Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Daniel Williams, Wildon Williams, Steve Williams, Michael Kuecker, Sidney Whitehead, and Kyle Kuecker. Honorary Pallbearers are all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
