Frank C. Munoz, 86, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018. He was born to the late Cleofas and Josephine Contreras Munoz on July 25, 1931 in Smiley. Frank married the love of his life, Margaret Campos , August 16, 1949 in Sinton. After marriage Frank became a ranch hand in Westhoff. He owned Munoz trucking, was a Sheriff Deputy, and retired from Cuero Police Department. Frank enjoyed spending his spare time hunting, fishing, and riding his horse, Nelly. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 68 years; daughters, Irma Wooten of Houston and Gloria Cleveland of Cuero; son, Elmo Munoz of Cuero; sister, Dolores Espinoza of Edna; and ten grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Munoz; sister, Vicenta Anzualda; and brother, Anselmo Munoz.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Freund Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. with the Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jacob Mendoza officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Brandon Munoz, Jason Munoz, Levon Munoz, Daniel Campos, Albert Espinoza, and Joe Espinoza.
