Frederick Warren Stoldt, 92, of Cuero passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born September 15, 1923 in Yale, Kansas to the late Frederick and Mary Stoldt. He married the love of his life, Virginia Ruth Hartman on November 8, 1952 in Victoria. Frederick served in the United States Army Air Corp. and worked for Dow Chemical in Lake Jackson as Plant Foreman for 32 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; daughters, Gina Zavesky (Jode) of Cuero, Karen Stoldt Cupples of Round Rock; sons, Michael Stoldt (Kay ) of Angleton, Richard Stoldt (Deb ) of Mishawaka, IN; sister, Elizabeth Stoldt Smith of Paola, KS; grandsons, James W. Cupples of San Antonio, Travis A. Zavesky of Cuero, Joseph Stoldt of Mishawaka, IN; step-grandson, Robert Zavesky of Goliad; step-granddaughters, Kari Zavesky Goehring (Ben) of Victoria, and Erin Laboy (Wilhem) of Woodbury MN; great-grandchildren, Connor, Andre, Elena, Ethan and Lucas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Thomas Stoldt; and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Marie Stoldt. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating. Interment to follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Arneckeville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
