Obituary
Gary L. Tieken, 54, of Cuero passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. He was born February 6, 1957 in Cuero to Roland Sr. and Velda (Jo) Leick Tieken. Gary married Pam Klaus on July 1, 1978 in Cuero. He was a Millright Superintendent for S & B Construction. Gary enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his parents; his loving wife of 33 years; his daughter, Kristie Tieken of Cuero; sisters, Betty Blank and husband, Ronnie, of Cuero, Linda Butler and husband, Ray, of Bulverde, and Laurie Klaus and husband, Larry, of Cuero; brother, Roland Tieken and wife, Karen, of Cuero; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Troy Klaus and his niece, Kortney Tieken.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday, May 13, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at Hillside Cemetery with Erica Kielstrup officiating. Interment will follow.
