Obituary
George Thomas Ritter, 55, of Cuero, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2011. He was born Sept. 28, 1955 in Matagorda to the late Harley Max Ritter and Ethal Lucille Robbins Ritter. He was a diesel mechanic and a welder. He graduated from Victoria High School in 1974 and served in the U.S. Navy from February 1981 to April 1985.
He is survived by his sister, Bessie Neil Ritter-Souris of Westhoff; brother, James Paul Ritter of Houston; niece, Victoria Elizabeth Souris of Victoria; nephews, Garrett Samual Sauris of Cuero and Henry Gregory Chennault Jr. of Victoria; and great-niece, Leah Rayne Chennault of Cuero.
He was preceded in death by his parents; paternal grandparents, Forrest Freman Ritter and Nettie Ann Beach-Ritter; and maternal grandparents, George Thomas Robbins and Georga Bell Patman-Robbins.
Services will be held at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
