Gloria Carisalez Hernandez, 62, of Cuero passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012. She was born October 9, 1949 in Cuero to the late Thomas Sr. and Zeferina Carrisalez. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and babysitting. She was a elementary school teacher for 20 years for various schools.

She is survived by her son, Daniel P. Aaron of San Francisco; sister, Mary Jane Carrisalez of Cuero; brothers, Thomas Carisalez Jr., Johnny Carisalez, and Joe Carisalez of Cuero, Victor Carisalez of Houston, Henry Carrisalez of Thomaston, and Daniel Carisalez of Hutto.

She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Josie Carsalez; brothers, Ray Carrisalez, and David Carrisalez.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 6-8 pm, at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10 am at Freund Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Cancino officiating. Interment will follow at San Miguel Cemetery, Thomaston, TX.

Pallbearers include Henry Carrisalez, Jonny Carisalez, Daniel Carisalez, Albert Carisalez, Josh Carisalez, and Geraldo Alvarez.
