Obituary

Guadalupe (Lupe) Garibay, Jr., 49, of Cuero passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was born January 25, 1967 in Cuero to Guadalupe and Lydia Garcia Garibay, Sr. Lupe was a devoted father, cowboy grandpa, brother and son. He was known to everyone as Uncle Lupe. Isaiah 53:5 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed." Uncle Lupe was different than the rest of his family. He was loud and raspy, outgoing, and always the life of the party. Always that tough cowboy that was full of jokes and could keep you laughing for hours. A man who undoubtedly loved life and the people in it. A man who will truly be missed by all he met and loved. His personality, smile, jokes, laughter, uniqueness, and all the great memories he left with everyone will forever remain in our hearts! R.I.P "Uncle Lupe" John 14:1-3 "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."
