Harley Wayne Phillips, 69, of Cuero passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016. He was born January 10, 1947 in Hallettsville to the late Marvin and Katie Phillips. Harley served in the Army during the Vietnam War where he received several medals. He is survived by his daughters, Carol Fahrig and Loraine Michalek (Edwin) all of Cuero; son Bobby (Becky) Phillips of Cuero; brother Marvin "Phil" Phillips (Linda) of Cuero; 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Lorene Phillips. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Deacon Leo Sharron officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
