Obituary

CUERO - Hazel Allison Baker, 97, of Cuero, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009. She was born Feb. 17, 1911, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to the late Molly Anna Condra and Gus Allison. She was a homemaker. She married Elmer Baker on Sept. 7, 1929 in Westhoff.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Centeno of Conroe; grandchildren, Karen Kawszan and Trigg Wright of Spring and Erik G. Baker and Christie of Mongomery; and one great-grandchild, Bree A. Baker of Montgomery.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Billy Wayne Baker of Conroe; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Friday, Feb. 6, at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow at noon Friday, Feb. 6. at the chapel, with burial at Pilgrim Cemetery, the Rev. Kathryn Morton officiating.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Cuero.
