Herlinda Longoria Hernandez, 88, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021.  She was born June 20, 1932 in Concrete to Julio L. and Hilaria Webb Longoria.  She was born premature and was sent home with little chance of life.  She overcame the hardships of country life and raised three sons.  She was the care taker of her mother and worked two jobs.  She has set an example of self-sacrifice, all for the love of her family.

She is survived by her three sons, Leonardo (Diana) Hernandez Jr. of Yoakum, Tommy (Leanne) Hernandez of Lake Jackson and Gerald (Rita) Clark of Cuero; sisters, Estella English of Victoria, Elvira Gonzales of San Antonio and Lydia Galindo of Cuero; brothers, Julio Longoria of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Manuel Longoria of Austin; grandchildren, Jason Hernandez, Venuzualas Perez, Linda M. Roland, Corey Clark, Melanie Clark and Victoria Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert Longoria and Benito Longoria.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 27, 2021, 10 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  The rosary was recited at 10:30 am and Funeral Mass began at 11 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Jasper Liggio officiating.  Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers included Justin Hernandez, Corey Clark, Victor Clark, Melanie Clark, Linda Roland and Victoria Clark.
