Obituary

Hillard N. "Bud" Harryman, 71, of Cuero, passed away Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at Warm Springs in Victoria. He was born Nov. 8, 1939, in Cuero, to the late Hillard J. Harryman and Velma Winslett Harryman. He married Ruby Wisian on Jan. 3, 1998 in Sweet Home. He was a retired mechanic and served in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his stepdaughters, Vicky O'Connor (Doug) of Lafayette, La., and Lorie Patterson, Rebecca Phillips (Bobby), and Shelia Yancey (Quentin), all of Cuero; stepsons, Donald Wisian (Diane) of Corpus Christi, David Wisian (Sheila) of Bertram, and Daniel Wisian of George Town; sister, Violet Dworaczyk (Daniel) of New Iberia, La.; brother, Dale Harryman (Gloria) of Cuero; 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and granddaughter, Haley Marie Yancey.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Ricky Harryman, Terry Harryman, Bobby Bitterly, Quentin Yancey, David Wisian, and Donald Wisian.

Honorary pallbearers: Chester Lucas, Daniel Dworaczyk, Dennis Dworaczyk, Roger Dworaczyk, Dan Dworaczyk, and all of his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorials: St. Michael's Catholic Church.
