Mr. Jack Alan Newman, 81, of Houston passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022.  He was born October 4, 1940 in Cuero to Cecil E. and Olga Klokau Newman.  He was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962.  He then went on to race cars in SCCA.  Jack was a retired metallurgist and chemist for Cameron Iron Works.

He is survived by his nephews, Reed Newman and Kent Newman and niece, Beth Newman Banerjee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Lt. Cecil E. Newman Jr., Deryl E. Newman and Chief Warrant Officer Bobby Newman.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022, 1:00 PM at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero with Larry Cheeseman officiating.

In lieu of flowers, Jack asked that any memorial contributions be made to your favorite charity of choice.
