James "Jim" Allison Jr., 73, of Westhoff passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025.  He was born August 19, 1951 in Gonzales to James Sr. and Selma Hilbrich Allison.  He married Suzanne "Sue" Woerner on January 5, 1974 in Pasadena, Texas.  He enjoyed photography, astronomy, music and hunting.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Sue Allison; daughters, Jill Pena and Lauren Coultas; sister, Sandra (Ted) Simon and grandchildren, Kayley Coultas and Robert Coultas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Joshua Allison.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025, 9:00 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church in Westhoff.  Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jan Russell Putnam officiating.  Interment will follow at Westhoff Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Lynn Nessel, Denis Mueller, Ricky Hilbrich, Melvin Squyres, Gerald Allison and Ronnie Hilbrich.

The Honorary Pallbearer will be Harland Schlenker.

Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, The Diabetes Foundation, American Heart Association or St. John's Lutheran Church in Westhoff.
