Obituary
James Lon Lott, 65, of Cuero, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2009. He was born November 19, 1943 in Bell County, Texas to Albert and Abbie Owens Lott. He married Dorothy Dodgen on December 11, 1965. He served in the United States Navy, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bastrop, and a member of the American Legion of Cuero.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years; daughter, Kerry Kenne and husband Dustin of Cuero; son, Gordon Lott and wife Tonya of Bastrop; mother, Abbie Rode of Cuero; brother, Jackie Lott and wife Martha Jo of Bastrop; and three grandchildren, Jimmy, Holly and Alexandra.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2009, 10 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Mueller officiating. Interment will follow at Bateman Cemetery in Bastrop at 2 p.m.
