James Edward Shoun, 74, of Cuero passed away Monday, April 27, 2026. He was born December 12, 1951 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Joseph James and Elizabeth Ann Lahey Shoun. He worked at the corner store.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Beckham, sons, Christopher Turner and James Shoun; his sister, Ila Kolander; and many grandkids and great-grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Valerie and brother, Robert "Bobby" Shoun.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
