Jane Nell Junker Hahn, 72, of Cuero entered into her eternal rest on November 17, 2012, at Warm Springs in Victoria. She was born July 17, 1940, in DeWitt County to the late Edwin George and Iva Goehring Junker.

She graduated from Cuero High School and was an honor student. She married her beloved husband George Norman Hahn on April 5, 1959, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arneckeville, Texas. Jane Nell was a homemaker. She had a special love for her birds, two little parakeets and a talking Cockatoo, names "Pinky". She did bulletins for the church for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Ruth Hahn of Cuero and sons, Michael George Hahn and Mark Wayne Hahn of Cuero.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 51 years.

Services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Beale officiating. Interment will follow at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arneckeville.

Pallbearers include Blayn Hahn, Jimmy Hahn, Donald Dieringer, Roger Weise, Wesley Goehring, Allan Goehring, and Bobby Schley.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arneckeville.
