Janet Kay Jenkins, 57, of Cuero passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015. She was born January 16, 1958 in Clinton, Kentucky to William E. and Edna B. O'Neal Pittman. Janet married the love of her life, David E. Jenkins, on November 22, 1980 in Arlington, Kentucky. She retired from banking after 20 years of service. Janet's true passion was taking care of her family. Her husband, children, and grandchildren meant more to her than anything in this world, and no matter what was happening around her, she made sure her family knew how much she loved them and that they always came first.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Dave Jenkins of Cuero; mother, Edna B. Pittman of Clinton, KY; daughter, Jennifer Flores and husband, David, of Whispering Pines, NC; son, Jonathan Jenkins and wife, Destin, of Hahira, GA; sister, Debbie Barham of Alaska; and grandchildren, Dylan and Maddox Flores, both of Whispering Pines, NC. She was preceded in death by her father.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, 2 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Williams officiating.
