Janie Winters McCarty Kueker, 77, of Tomball, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018.  She was born October 10, 1940 to the late Oren B. and Dorothy Taylor Winters in San Antonio. She married Ralph Kueker on March 23, 1984 in Burton and they made DeWitt County their home for many years.   Janie was a very successful  small business owner before her retirement.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends.

Janie is survived by her ex-husband, Dan McCarty of Tomball; daughter, Debra (Chip) Love of Tomball; son, Dan (Leanne) McCarty of Plano; sister, Inez McChesney of McGregor; grandchildren, Danielle Gibeau of Spring, Colton Love of Tomball, Christine McCarty of Plano, and Olivia McCarty of Plano; and great grandchildren, Summer and Ambree Gibeau.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years and her parents.

The funeral service will be held Monday, September 3, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Lindenau with Pastor William Hill officiating.  Interment will follow at Lindenau Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Dan McCarty, Colton Love, Chip Love, Eric Gibeau, David Livingston, and Vyron McDaniel.
