Jeffery Roy Bennett,  61, of Cuero, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018.  He was born July 12, 1956 to the late Gilbert Ray Sr. and Meta Rangnow Bennett.

He is survived by his mother, Meta Rangnow Bennett;  sister, Peggy Sue Bennett of Cuero; brother, Ronnie Dale Bennett (Darlene) of Victoria; and nieces and nephews, Lindsey VonHaefen, Eric Bennett, Emily Bennett, and Nicholas Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Gilbert Ray Bennett Jr.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Meyersville with Pastors Terry Brown and Ray Payne officiating.
