Obituary
Jennie Beatrice Pate, 84, of Cuero passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013. She was born on December 6, 1928 in LaPorte to the late John Wesley and Jennie Lee Cowey Beard. She married her beloved husband, Aubrey Jackson Pate on November, 9, 1946 in Seguin. She was devoted to her church and the Lord.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Lee Vorse and Jackie Lynn Gardner; sons, Roger Dale Pate (Karen) and Derrel Wayne Pate (Sherrie); grandchildren, David Aubrey Pate (MeLisa), Melissa Lynn Smith (Casey), Rebecca Ann Pate, John Pate, Larrissa Fountain, Brittany Pate, Ryan Pate, Patricia Gail Howell, Cathy Renee Carpenter (JR) ,Melanie Ann Gonzalez (Fernando) and Priscilla Lynn Joiner (Ben).
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
A service was held Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Terry Brown officiating. Interment was held at Saturn Cemetery in Gonzales.
