Jessie Belle Gebauer, 82, of Cuero passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was born September 1, 1933 in Vernon to the late Roscoe and Hazel Clawson Wiseman. She married the love of her life, Paul Gebauer, on December 12, 1953 in Vernon. Jessie was a bookkeeper for many years working for Paul Lucas Sr. in Cuero. She was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and the Holy Name Society. Jessie loved cooking for her family and always had a smile on her face. She liked arts, crafts, and sewing, and enjoyed making things for her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband; daughters, Paula (Virgil) Brown of Cuero and Sharon (Ira) Epstien of Round Rock; grandchildren, Haley (Christopher) Urbanovsky of Cuero, Michael Epstien of Austin; and Melissa O'Brien of Gainesville; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James N. Wiseman and David C. Wiseman; sister, Juanita Long; and grandson, Bradley Brown.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 6 p.m. Services will be Saturday, October 31, 2015, 11 a.m., at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Haley Urbanovsky, Christopher Urbanovsky, Michael Epstein, Jay Gebauer, Tim Gebauer and Troy Stoneburner.
