Obituary
Jesus 'Chewy' Nieto, 79, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was born June 10, 1933 in Georgewest to the late Jose and Aurora Zuniga Nieto. He married Guadalupe Sanchez Nieto. He worked for the City of Cuero for over 30 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Sanchez-Mathis of Cuero and Gloria Sanchez-Villarreal of Yorktown; son, Salvador Nieto of Seguin; grandson, Matthew Guerrero of Cuero; and sisters, Emma Munoz- Juarez and Dora Meza both of Gerogewest.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Guadalupe, of 55 years; sister, Julia Munoz; and brothers, Jose Nieto and Paul Nieto.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home with a rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father David Berger officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
