Jimmy Wayne Phillips Sr., 72, of Cuero passed away Friday, January 31, 2020.  He was born July 13, 1947 in Cuero to the late Eugene Phillips and Elsie Baer Phillips Hotz.  He was a Carpenter and Longtime employee at Means Furniture.

He is survived by his sons, Jimmy W. (Jo) Phillips Jr., Steven R. (Shelley) Phillips and Patrick M.(Adria)  Phillips all of Santa Fe; sister, Lillie Mae Phillips of Cuero; brother, Richard (Ricky) Phillips of Cuero; grandchildren, Steven Ray (Madeline) Phillips II, Austin J. (Gabrielle) Phillips, Sabrina A. Phillips, Dharma D. Phillips, Jaykob M. Phillips, Michele N. Phillips, Allisha R. Phillips and Dawn A. Phillips all of Santa Fe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Hellen M. Fuller; and brother, David Lee Phillips.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020, 5 to 7 PM at Freund Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Friday, February 7, 2020, 10 AM at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Gregory of Santa Fe Family Worship Center officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
