JoAnn Stratmann, 75, of Cuero, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 in Houston. She was born July 15, 1934, in Yorktown, to the late Otto Feller and Adahlia Feller Reyes, both of Yorktown. She married the late Gene Stratmann on May 23, 1954, in Yorktown and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and being an active member of her church.

She is survived by daughter, Wanda and Elmo Kaiser of Yoakum; sons, Gerry and Kay Stratmann of Dayton, Toby and Dawn Stratmann of Cove, and Scott and Brenda Stratmann of Victoria; grandchildren, Mindy and Micah Goff, and Aubrey, Amy and Deran Schilling, and Avery, Russel Kaiser, Kinsey Stratmann, Scott Stratmann II, B.J. Schultz, Cameron Schultz, Terra and Daniel Grimes, Tiffany and John Pierce, and Logan, Tierny Cox, and Shannon Kaiser.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers, Clarence Feller and Glenn Feller.

Visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009, at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Pastor Terry Brown officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Matt Stratmann, Clarence Feller Jr., Mike Feller, Jeff Feller, Anthony Biela, Steve Stewart, Corwin Laging, Jack Butler, and Patrick Butler.
