Joe K. Boston, 86, of Westhoff passed away Saturday, September 24, 2011. He was born November 9, 1924 in La Grange to the late Mary Etta Boston. He attended Thomas Jefferson in San Antonio before joining the US Marine Corps in 1941. Joe married Elaine Wilkinson on July 2, 1948. Joe retired from the City Public Service in 1982 after 34 years of service. He was the General Foreman of substation construction.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elaine Boston; son, Robert L. Boston and wife, Brenda, of Kingsland; grandchildren, Lisa Boston Nesloney of San Antonio and Stephanie K. Boston of Austin; and great-grandchildren, River Nesloney of San Antonio and Kate Dombrowski of Connecticut.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 10:30 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at Westhoff Cemetery.
