Obituary
Johnny Ray Hess Sr., 49, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. He was born June 29, 1964 in Cuero to Vernon and Dovie Hess. He had a passion for working on racecars.
He is survived by his mother, daughters, Crystal Jones of Goliad and Kelly Clark of Cuero; sons, Johnny Hess Jr. and Robert Knesek both of San Antonio; sister, Dee Hess Hall of Cuero; brothers, Mike Hess and wife, Deb, of Cuero, Rick Hess and wife, Jackie, of Baytown and Jeff Hess of Austin; grandchildren, Jackson Jones, Rylee Jones and Emma Rangel.
He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers, Terry Hess and Jerry Hess.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
