Josh R. Sullivan, 59, of Cuero passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. He was born July 30, 1959 in Cuero to Mary L. Schlinke Sullivan and the late Kenneth Sullivan. Josh was a volunteer firefighter serving on the Cuero Volunteer Fire Department. He was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, liked doing mechanic work, and was a sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Josh was an avid football fan and worked at the Cuero High School football games with the chain crew.
Josh is survived by step-daughter, Tiara Sullivan of Smiley; sister, Suzan Sullivan Voelkel of Cuero and her son, Johnathan Voekel and his girlfriend, Annette, and their children, McKinzie, Andrew, Danielle, Thomas, Tea, and Kayla; and brother, Mitchell Sullivan and his children, Mikeala (Henry) Flores, Kayley (Jason) Wilson, Paul, Lucy, Hope, and Samuel.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, April 4, 2019, 10 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home with President Jeff Spendlove officiating. Interment will follow at Lindenau Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Adriano Dasilva, Brian Ladwig, Fred Postert, Henry Stall, Billy Parkinson, Lawrence Roy, and Henry Henkes. Honorary pallbearers include Johnathan Voelkel, Oscar Schlinke III, Mike Burgess, Bill Melanson, Bill Dobson, and Bill Daniels.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Cuero Volunteer Fire Department.
