Joyce Gale Parr, 63, of Cuero passed away January 24, 2021.  She was born May 21, 1957 in Cuero to the late Lesley T. and Joyce Eleen Marshall Parr.  She was the true definition of a stay at home mom, as she loved to cook, crochet, make jewelry, listen to music and enjoyed her arts and crafts.  She usually had Gunsmoke or an old John Wayne classic movie playing in the background.  Joyce loved going to church and spending time with her beloved family.  She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother that will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Maggie Mae Parr; brother, Tommy Parr; granddaughter, Rose M. Parr; niece, Kathleen Parr; nephew, Dillon Parr; aunt, Jean Wurm and all of her cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt, Diane Norris.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, 9 AM at Freund Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will follow at 10 AM with Pastor Grady Arnold officiating.  Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Chris Coleman, Jimmy Baros, Jimmy Parr, Henry Cretors, Robert Wurm, Larry Cretors, Lonnie Parr and Chris Parr.

Honorary pallbearers include Tommy Parr, Dillon Parr and Chris Hampton.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Freund Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
