Joyce Hilbrich, 86, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Corpus Christi. She was born May 17, 1929 in Smiley to Roy and Velma Smith. She married the love of her life, Alfred F. Hilbrich on June 7, 1946 in Smiley. Joyce was a member of the Cuero Garden Club, the Texas Tutor Reading Program and St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She is survived by daughter, Nancy Parrish of Corpus Christi; sister, Joye S. Davis of Smiley; grandchildren, Scott Wayne Parrish of Austin, Jason Lee Parrish of Tyler and Brooke Hilbrich of San Antonio; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Chase Parrish of Austin, Morgan and Darren Parrish of Tyler. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Barry Wayne Hilbrich and Jeffrey Roy Hilbrich. Services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 211 N. Clinton, Cuero with Pastor Jeff Thompson officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. at Westhoff Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or First United Methodist Church.
